Membership Types and Definitions:
Exclusive Member: -Best Value!An exclusive member is listed at the top of the page and is viewable to the public 24/7. The profile is double the size of a normal member and comes with a 4 page website for consumers to review. Your contractor ratings, insurance information, license number, company overview, areas of expertise, and more are displayed with your exclusive membership to eCB. An exclusive member also has the ability to post unlimited jobs for other sub-contractors to bid on.
An exclusive member can be any contractor, supplier, or service provider who meets all the pre-screening requirements (see other document), signs the membership contract, and has completed their profile. This member type has a variety of payment packages to suite any business's needs.
Exclusive members receive Search Engine Optimization to advertise and enhance their profile and ratings to customers and receive additional exposure to the public.
Member:
Any contractor, supplier, or service provider that belongs to their local builders association is automatically listed as a member to eContractorBids.com. Your membership provides consumers with your company profile including, your contractor ratings, insurance information, license number, company overview, areas of expertise, and more.
Member profiles are listed below the “Exclusive Members” and viewable to the public 24/7. Members also receive Search Engine Optimization to enhance their profile and drive more traffic to their page. Any member also has the ability to post unlimited subcontractor jobs for other members to bid on.
Pre-Member: - Free Trial Membership!
A pre-member is any contractor, supplier, or service provider that has not signed up with eContractorBids.com or BuilditLocal.com yet. These members will only have their company contact information available to consumers.
This member type is sent all the jobs leads, if an email address is provided, but not allowed to bid on jobs until they fully sign up. A pre-member does not have a profile and does not have a rating viewable to the public. However, consumers can leave feedback and comments in the pre-member’s account that’s viewable to the public 24/7. This is the smallest listing type and comes with no Search Engine Optimization.
Affiliate Member:
Banks, realtors, insurance agents, and affiliates of the construction industry, promote your business at eContractorBids.com! We have thousands of people visiting us every month looking for products and services in the construction industry.
You’ll be provided a listing in our service directory in the category of your choice with a full page profile. Your profile contains your contact information, company overview, pictures, special promotions, and anything else you would like to show your customers.

How Customers Select You:
When customers submit their jobs at eContractorBids.com they select which contractor they would like to send their information to. Your preview profile, followed by your full 4 page profile is how customers view and select you. “Exclusive members” are placed at the top of the page followed by “members” then “pre-members” listings. Each contractor is listed under as many categories as they wish and selects the areas their willing to work in. Your contractor rating will determine your placement within your membership type. The highest rated members are listed at the top of the page when consumers are selecting their contractor.
Your Membership Profile:
Your membership comes with a preview profile and a four page website that is built for your company. The information put into your portfolio comes from you. Any person in the world can view your profile 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is your business’s façade to customers.
Your profile provides consumers with an overview of your company, areas and contact page, an approval rating page, a licensing and insurance page, and a portfolio page with dozens of pictures of your past work.

Our Member Screening Process:
Every member to eContractorBids.com is pre-screened and must meet several requirements before being accepted into our network. Upon signing up, your membership will be pending approval for 24 hours. Once approved, you’ll have full access to the site and all the jobs. To be accepted you must meet the following requirements.This is how we screen our members:
- VERIFY TRADE LICENSE
eContractorBids.com checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. - VERIFY INSURANCE
We contact the insurance agent of the member to confirm general liability insurance. - VERIFICATION OF STATE BUSINESS FILINGS
For the business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing with the state. - CRIMINAL RECORDS SEARCH
We use a third party data sources to conduct a criminal background check for any relevant criminal activity in the state that the owner/principal is located. - SEX OFFENDER SEARCH
We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state sex offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal is located. - IDENTITY VERIFICATION
We verify the social security number (s) of the owner./principal for identity check purposes. We also do a reverse phone lookup to confirm that the phone number provided matches the phone listing for the business. - VERIFY CUSTOMER REFERENCES
We request and contact previous customer references to solicit feedback on the business's performance.

Bidding Fee:A bidding fee is charged to your account when you receive a job request and click Bid It", to submit your price and terms to the customer. You will be provided with all the information for the job and will only be charged a fee if you wish to place a bid estimate on the job.
Success Fee:
A success fee is charged when a lead or request that you placed a bid estimate on was accepted and ended in a contract. A charge will be placed on the member's account and billed to the billing card provided.
Money Back Guarantee:
Any dues paid by any member may receive a full refund of the monthly membership dues if they meet the following guidelines:
- The refunded money request corresponds to the first 6-month contract period.
- Member's responds to active leads and Bids in the first six months.
- Member logs into their account a minimum of 8 times a month for 6 months.
- No direct contracts or benefits are received from the membership contract.
All refunds will be made within 30 days, paid by check after the date of receipt of the written cancellation notice. Amount refunded will equal the monthly membership dues for six months or the total amount of monthly membership dues paid, whichever is less. See Full Membership Contract
