We need the rain thanks to all of the dry, hot sunny days but there are certain things you can do to make the most of the rain that falls on your landscaping and home while still maintaining a stylish motif. First of all use flagstone or pavers to allow more rain to enter the soil from beneath instead of a concrete walkway which wouldn’t as much. Choosing the appropriate plants that are drought-tolerant when on higher ground and moisture-tolerant on lower levels is important as well. Layering with a generous amount of mulch in order to retain moisture and lastly, making sure you have proper drainage installed in your yard in order to prevent flooding can be very beneficial.
